folded this bat of a brown paper, because there are already a lot of
black origami bats.
The other side of this paper is white.
Prefold over these 4 lines.
Then turn the paper
First valley-fold over the 2 lines at the bottom-right.
Then mountain-fold over the 2 diagonal lines in the
middle. And valley-fold over the 2 lines at the top-left.
Valley-fold this flap upwards
Squash-fold the flap
Valley-fold over these 2 lines.
Unfold the folds of step 5
Pull the edge indicated by the red arrow downwards
by making a valley-fold over this line
Push/press the edges indicated by the arrows
Valley-fold the triangular flap upwards
Pull the two ends at the bottom/back of the
arrows outwards, in the direction of these arrows.
Mountain-fold the triangular flap to the inside
of the model
Push the two ends towards each other again,
see red arrows.
Repeat steps 4 to 12 on the other 3 flaps,
Bookfold one layer to the right.
Then, rotate the model 180 degrees
Valley-fold the flap upwards over these 2 lines
The edge indicated by the arrow is pulled
in a straight line now
Bookfold the edge indicated by the arrow to
the right, press everything flat while you do
Mountain-fold over the yellow line.
Repeat steps 15 to 18 on the other side,
Valley-fold over these 2 lines
Valley-fold the model in half over the center-line.
Then mountain-fold the two wings downwards.
Valley-fold the tip indicated by the large arrow upwards
over the short yellow line.
Do the same with the tip indicated by the small arrow
Mountain-fold over this short yellow line.
First valley-fold over the shortest line below,
then over the upper line
Push the layers of the ears open/apart with your
finger, see red arrows.
