CUTE ORIGAMI BUTTERFLY
Only the front of the square piece of paper is coloured.
Step
1:
This is the front of the paper.
Turn the paper.
Step
2:
Make mountain- and valley-folds over
these 4 lines.
Unfold each fold after you made one.
Step
3:
Make these folds from the edge of the
paper to the center,
not any further.
First, make a valley-fold over the 2
lines below. Then, make
a mountain-fold over the 2 lines in the
middle. And make
a valley-fold over the 2 lines on top.
Now you get a basic-shape.
Step
4:
Make a valley-fold over this line.
Then turn and rotate the model so it
lays the same as in the
picture of step 5.
Step
5:
Fold the 2 ends downwards by making a
valley-fold over
the 2 yellow lines.
Step
6:
Make a mountain-fold over the short line
on top.
Step
7:
Make these folds over all layers of the
model.
Make a mountain-fold over the 2 lines in
the middle and
a valley-fold over the 2 lines on the
outside.
Step
8:
Make a mountain-fold on the end of each
wing,
see the 4 short lines.
Step
9:
Make a mountain-fold on the corners
indicated with the
2 arrows. Now the wing is more rounded.
Do the same on the other 3 ends.
Step
10:
Press the edges of the green body
towards each other,
see the yellow arrows.
Do this by making a mountain-fold over
the yellow line.
The green body is more rounded after
you've done this.
The origami butterfly is ready!
