Only the front of the square piece of paper is coloured.
Step 1:This is the front of the paper.
Turn the paper.
You don't need to be very precise with folding this
flower.
I also used this coloured pattern for making tulips.

Step 2:
Make a valley-fold over these 4 lines.
Step 3:
Make a valley-fold over the 2 lines on top, on the left.
Make the same folds on the other 3 corners of the model.
Step 4:
Now you've made a round piece of paper.
Turn the paper.
Step 5:
Make a valley-fold over the line on the left and a
mountain-fold over the line on the right.
The piece on the right of the 2 lines is pulled a bit
to the left by making these folds.
Step 6:
Repeat step 5 two more times on the places that are
indicated with the 2 arrows.
Step 7:
Now the model looks like this.
Repeat step 5 about 4 or 5 times on other places of
the model. Try to make the model look like the figure
in step 8.
Step 8:
Hold the model at the bottom in one hand.
Step 9:
Now press on the outside of the bottom, see arrows.
Step 10:
Here you can see the bottom after you pressed on it.
Hold the bottom in one hand again.
Step 11:
Press on the top of the flower with your other hand,
see arrows. This is to make the flower more flat.
Step 12:
Fold the end of the bottom downwards (mountain-fold)
so the bottom of the flower becomes more flat too.
Step 13:
The flower is ready...
Step 14:
Take one piece of thick copy-paper and cut it in half
over the green line.
Step 15:
Take one paper of step 14 and fold it in half over the
green line.
Step 16:
Add glue to the bottom of the flower (see the arrow on the right)
and glue the flower to the piece that is indicated with the
arrow on the left.
The origami card is ready!
