Origami BATMAN
This is how to fold a Batman figure out of a paper which is dark blue
on one side
and light blue on the other. You can also use a
black and grey combination for the paper.


Step 1:
The
Origami paper is about 20x20 cm and lighter blue on one side.
Prefold in half four times.



Step 6:
Fold
this edge upwards.
Step 5:
Prefold
over these two lines.
Step 2:
Valley-fold
over the two lines at the bottom right, then mountain-fold over the
two diagonal lines. And valley-fold over the two lines at the top
left.
All lines are prefolded in step 1
Step 4:
Squash-fold
the flap.

Step 3:
Fold
one flap straight upwards.

Step 10:
Fold
the triangle flap inwards.


Step 8:
Fold
three triangle flaps downwards. The flap on the backside stays
upwards and will actually be the front of the model.
Step 9:
Pull
open, see arrows
Step 7:
Press
/ fold these edges flat over the prefolded lines.
Repeat steps 4 to 7 on the other three flaps.

Step 16:
Turn
the model.
Step 15:
Repeat
steps 12 to 14 on this side, mirror wise.
Step 12:
Bookfold
this edge to the right.
Step 11:
Close
the model again.
Then repeat steps 9 to 11 with the left and right flap.
Step 14:
Fold
the edge of step 12 back to the left and press the model flat.



Step 13:
Fold
over this line


Step 21:
Fold
over the upper line first.
Step 19:
Fold
over these lines
Step 20:
Fold
over these two lines.
Step 18:
Mountain-fold
the dark blue parts backwards.
Step 17:
Fold
the edges outwards over these lines, to reveal the light blue side
of the paper.



Step 22:
Fold
the edges backwards
Step 24:
Fold
the wings to the front
Step 23:
Fold
the upper edge backwards
