Origami Black-Eyed Susan flower
This is how to make bright yellow Black Eyed Susan
flowers with a dark stamen.
Step 1:
I
drawed a brown circle on a complete yellow paper. Prefold over the
four blue lines.
Step 6:
Prefold
over these two lines.
Step 5:
Squash-fold
the flap.
Step 2:
Fold
the corners to the center,
then turn the model.
Step 4:
Valley-fold
one flap upwards.
Step 3:
Valley-fold
over the two lines at the bottom right. Then mountain-fold over the
two diagonal lines. And valley-fold over the two lines at the top
left.
Step 10:
Repeat
steps 4 to 9 on the other three flaps.
Step 8:
Press/push
these edges downwards.
Step 9:
Valley-fold
the triangular flap upwards.
Step 7:
Valley-fold
this edge downwards.

Step 16:
The
small arrows show the two edges of step 15. Pull the upper paper
layer outwards/upwards, see large arrow. Do the same on the edge on
the right.
Step 15:
Valley-fold
these two edges upwards.
Step 12:
Mountain-fold
the triangular flap to the inside.
Step 11:
Pull
these two petals outwards.
Step 14:
Repeat
steps 11 to 13 on the other three triangular flaps.
Step 13:
Push
both petals towards each other again.
Step 21:
Squash
fold this petal too.
Repeat on the other three same petals.
Step 19:
Hold
the model on the spot indicated by the blue dot. Then squash-fold
the petal with your other hand.
Step 20:
Repeat
step 19 three more times, see arrows.
Step 18:
Repeat
steps 15 to 17 on the other three same places.
Step 17:
Valley-fold
over these prefolded lines.
Step 22:
Press
the brown center outwards from the inside, see arrow. Use a pencil
or something long and small as help, if necessary.
Step 28:
Bend/curve
the stem random.
Step 25:
One
flower is done......
Step 26:
The
stems are rectangular papers folded in half a few times.
Step 24:
Curl/curve/bend
the four petals of step 23 downwards, see blue arrows. And curver
the other four petals upwards.
Step 23:
Valley-fold
over these two lines, do the same on the other three same petals
(these are petals which have more layers then the other four).
Step 29:
Glue
a flower to the stem.
Step 27:
Fold
in half one more time.
DONE!

This
is a leaf paper, fold over these two lines.
Step 31:
Fold
over these four lines, then turn the model.
Step 32:
Mountain-fold
over this line, keep the rest of the model flat (on a table).
Step 34:
Glue
a few leaves to each stem....
Step 33:
Fold
over these six sets of two lines, they are placed a little random.
