BLEEDING HEARTS FLOWER
This is how to make a beautiful paper Bleeding Hearts
flower with stems
and leafs designed by me, Joost Langeveld
Step 1:
The
flower paper is 6x6 inch (15x15 cm) and pink on one side.
Prefold in half
Step 6:
Fold
over these 3 lines.
Step 5:
Press
/ fold the model flat.
Step 2:
Fold
over these 2 lines, use the next picture as guidance.
Step 4:
Fold
both corners inwards
Step 3:
Fold
over these two lines. First fold the tip to the spot indicated by
the arrow.
Step 10:
Fold
over these 2 lines.
Step 8:
Fold
over these 2 lines.
Step 9:
Fold
in half
Step 7:
Fold
over this line
Step 16:
The
leaf papers are also 6x6 inch and green on one side. Prefold in half
over these 4 lines
Step 15:
Done......
Step 12:
Fold
the edge inwards and open the model.
Step 11:
Fold
both corners inwards.
Step 14:
Glue
or fold the corners together
Step 13:
Sink-fold
over the prefolded lines and close the model again
Step 21:
Fold
the 2 lower flaps straight upwards.
Step 19:
Fold
the tip upwards.
Step 20:
Press
/ fold these edges downwards.
Repeat steps 18 to 20 on the backside.
Step 18:
Prefold.
Step 17:
Valley-fold
over the 2 lines at the bottom right, mountain-fold over the 2
diagonal lines and valley-fold over the 2 lines at the top left.
Step 22:
Open
both flaps, see the 2 outer arrows.
Then squash-fold them, use the next picture as guidance.
Step 28:
One
leaf done.
Step 25:
Fold
over these 2 lines.
Step 26:
Press
flat, see arrows.
Step 24:
Fold
over this line.
Step 23:
Turn
the model
Step 29:
The
main stems are made by folding long papers around a metal / florist
wire.
Step 27:
Fold
the stem in half and curve it a little

Step 30:
The
tiny stems are made by folding small squares in half a few times.
Step 31:
Fold
both ends of a tiny stem sidewards, glue a flower to one end and
glue the other end to the main stem. And glue a leaf to the main
stem.
Step 32:
Glue
more flowers and leafs to the main stem
Step 33:
This
is one main stem with flowers.
Three are enough for one nice arrangement.
