Origami Candy Corn folding Tutorial
These are step by step instructions for
easy to fold and realistic looking Candy Corn
If
you want, you can prefold a white a4-size paper with a squares pattern
first for making small Origami papers. The video below shows how to do
that. The Origami papers are 7x7cm or 3x3inches.
Step 8: Press
the right part of the model open.
Step 6: Valley-fold
over these 2 prefolded lines.
Step 13: Press
the other side of the model open.
Step 12: The
bottom of the model should look like this.
Step 11: Fold
the two ends downwards.
Step 10: Valley-fold
over this curved line.
Step 9: Mountain-fold
over this curved line.
Step 5: Prefold
over these 2 lines.
Then, unfold the folds of step 4.
Step 7: Start
with the valley-fold on the left, then the one in the middle and then
the one on the right. All three lines are prefolded.
Step 3: First
mountain-fold over the line on the right, then over the one on the left.
Step 1: Prefold over these
2 lines.
Step 2: Color these parts
orange and yellow, use the prefolded lines for orientation.
Step 4: Mountain-fold
over these 2 lines.
Step 15: Press
the top of the model flat from aside.
Step 14: Push
these two spots inwards with your finger (nail)
This
is a DIY-video by Joost Langeveld which also has instructions for
folding the Candy Corn pieces:
Step 16: Make
sharper edges by folding over these two lines, do the same on the other
side.
Wrap
transparent tape around the model to make it look more shiny and tasty.
