Fold an Origami
Centipede
This
is a tutorial for folding a pretty long paper centipede.
Step 1:
This
paper is 4,5 x 29 centimeters or 1,75 x 11 inches.
The other side is red.
Valley-fold over both lines.
Step 6:
The
mountain-folds are already prefolded and the valley-folds are in the
middle of the prefolded lines.
Step 5:
Fold
both edges to the centerline.
Then unfold steps 3 to 5
Step 2:
Prefold
in half.
Step 4:
Fold
both edges to the centerline.
Step 3:
Fold
both edges to the centerline
Step 10:
Mountain-fold
this corner inwards. The left-part of the line is below the upper
layer.
Step 8:
Valley-fold
over both lines
Step 9:
Press
/ fold the edge inwards.
Then turn the model again.
Step 7:
Turn
the model.
Step 16:
Fold
both corners inwards
Step 15:
Valley-fold
over this line.
Step 12:
Repeat
steps 10 and 11 over these lines.
Step 11:
Press
the model flat.
Step 14:
Repeat
step 13 on the other legs
Step 13:
Press
the leg flat from aside.
Then fold it downwards over the longer line.
Step 17:
Press
/ fold this edge inwards.
Finally
press both front legs flat.... Done!
