Origami Concorde Plane
This plane also looks great with other papers then I used.
Step 1:
The other side of this origami paper is white.
Prefold over the black line, then turn the paper.
Step
2:
Valley-fold over these 2 lines.
Step
3:
Valley-fold over the line on the left and
mountain-fold over the line on the right.
Then, turn the model.
Step
4:
Fold over these 3 lines.
Step
5:
Valley-fold the wing straight upwards, do the same
with the other wing.
Then, open the model from above, see red arrow.
Step
6:
This is a top view of the plane.
Pull the tail upwards by making an
inside reverse fold over these 3 lines.
Step
7:
Fold the tip to the inside of the model by making
a mountain-fold over the short black line and
a valley-fold on the same place at the layer on
the other side.
Step
8:
Open the tip of the plane on the left, see arrow.
Then turn the model upside down.
Step
9:
Valley-fold over this line.
Step
10:
Valley-fold over these 2 lines.
Step
11:
Make an outside reverse fold over the 3 black lines
(=valley-fold over each line).
Fold the model in half over the red line while you
do this.
Then, turn the model again.
Step
12:
Here a part of step 11 is already done, the 3 black lines
on the left are the same ones as in step 11.
Finally, close the model from aside, see red arrows.
The
Concorde (1969-2003)
The Concorde was a supersonic jet powered plane which could
fly at a speed of Mach 2, That's 2388 km/h or 1484 mph.
A total of 20 Concordes were made which flew for British Airways and Air
France. That's not very much, but is was more a prestige project for
the British and French country than a commercial project.
