CUTE ORIGAMI CHRISTMAS STAR
This origami christmas star is easy to fold and it
doesn't take a lot of time to make one.
These
ones are really nice to hang in a christmas tree.
Step 1:
This is the front of the paper, the
backside is white.
Turn the paper.
Step 2:
Prefold over this line.
Step 3:
Make a valley-fold over these 2 lines.
Step 4:
Fold the model in half over this line.
Step 5:
Fold the model in half over this line.
Step 6:
And fold the model in half over this
line.
Press the model as flat as you can, so
it won't
open by itself anymore.
Step 7:
First, make a mountain-fold over the
line on the left.
Then, make a valley-fold over the line
next to it.
Continue making mountain- and
valley-folds until the line
on the right.
(make mountain-folds over the lines
indicated by the
arrows and valley-folds over the other
lines)
Step 8:
Here a part of the folds in step 7 is
already done.
Step 9:
Pull the ends at the bottom of the 2
arrows towards
each other, in the direction of these 2
arrows.
Step 10:
Insert the end on the right between the
layers of paper
of the end on the left. If your paper is
stiff enough the
model stays good, otherwhise you can use
a little glue
to connect both ends to each other.
Done!
More stars done!
I cut out a long piece of red
paper which I used to
hang the christmas star in a tree.
Just a simple knot is enough
to hang the star in a tree.
