Origami Dandelion flower
This is an easy way to make a pretty realistic looking paper Dandelion
flower.
Step 1:
The
yellow flower papers are 6x6 inches.
The leaf papers vary from about 5x5 inch to 7x7 inch.
The stem papers are rectangular papers.
Step 6:
Valley-fold
the corners a little off-center.
Step 5:

Step 2:
Prefold
the flower paper over these four lines.
Step 4:
Valley-fold
the corners a little off-center.
Step 3:
Valley-fold
the corners to the center.
Step 10:
Pull
these four petals outwards by making an outside reverse fold on the
four places with three pink lines.
Step 8:
Press
these four spots inwards by folding over the 4 pink lines.
Turn the model again.
Step 9:
Pull
the petal outwards by making an inside reverse fold over the three
pink lines.
Do the same with the other three outer petals.
Step 7:
Turn
the model.

Step 16:
Roll
up completely and use tape or glue to fix it.
Step 15:
Now
it's easier to roll up the paper.
Step 12:
Pull
the final four petals outwards, see pink arrows.
Step 11:
Pull
these four petals outwards by making an inside reverse fold on the
four places with three pink lines.
Step 14:
Make
about four valley-folds on a stem paper, start with the line below.
Step 13:
Make
as many flowers as you want.
Step 21:
Valley-fold
over these two lines, then turn the model.
Step 19:
Valley-fold
on this leaf paper.
Step 20:
Valley-fold
over these two lines.
Step 18:
The
stem is curved / curled a little to make it look more natural /
realistic.
Step 17:
Fold
the top of the stem downwards, see very short pink line. Then glue a
flower to the top.
Step 22:
Press
these six spots inwards with your finger.
Step 25:
One
leaf is done....
Step 24:
Press
about three (random) edges inwards with your finger.
Step 23:
Valley-fold
on these three edges, do the same on the other side.
Origami Dandelion pattern
The
leafs
are glued to or arranged around the bottom of a stem.
DONE!
