VELOCIRAPTOR SKELETON
All eight papers for this model are the
same size and completely white on both sides Step 1:
This paper is for a rib-piece.
Prefold over these 4 lines
Step 2:
First valley-fold over the 2 lines at the bottom-right.
Then mountain-fold over the 2 diagonal lines in the middle.
And valley-fold over the 2 lines at the top-left.
Step 3:
Fold this flap upwards
Step 4:
Squash-fold the flap
Step 5:
Valley-fold over these 2 lines
Step 6:
Unfold the folds of step 5
Step 7:
Pull the edge indicated by the arrow downwards
by making a valley-fold over this line.
Step 8:
Press the edges downwards, see arrows.
Step 9:
Valley-fold the triangular flap upwards
Step 10:
Pull the 2 ends outwards, in the direction of the arrows.
Step 11:
Mountain-fold the triangular flap to the inside
of the model
Step 12:
Push the two ends towards each other again
Step 13:
Repeat steps 4 to 12 on the other 3 flaps
Step 14:
Bookfold one layer to the left
Step 15:
Valley-fold over these 2 lines
Step 16:
Bookfold one layer to the right
Step 17:
Repeat step 15 on the other 3 flaps
Step 18:
Bookfold one layer to the left
Step 19:
Make an inside reverse fold over these 3 lines.
Step 20:
Repeat step 19 on the flap indicated by the arrow
Step 21:
Make the same sort of folds as in step 19
on the two flaps at the backside
Step 22:
Fold over these 3 lines
Step 23:
Press the ends flat from aside by making
a mountain-fold over these 4 lines.
Step 24:
Make 3 of these rib-pieces
Step 25:
This will be a leg, start with step 14 of the rib-piece.
Bookfold one layer to the left.
Step 26:
Mountain-fold over these 2 lines
Step 27:
Turn the model
Step 28:
Bookfold one layer to the left.
Step 29:
Valley-fold over these 2 lines
Step 30:
Pull the end downwards by making
an inside reverse fold over these lines.
Step 31:
Repeat step 29 and 30 on the other 2 flaps
indicated by the arrows
Step 32:
Turn the model and rotate it 180 degrees
Step 33:
First mountain-fold over the line below and
then over the upper line
Step 34:
Fold the model in half over this line
Step 35:
Mountain-fold over this line.
Step 36:
And the right-leg is done

Start with 35 to make the left-leg.
Valley-fold over this line

And the left-leg is done too.

This paper is for a tail-piece.
Fold in half over this line

Fold the model in half over this line.

First, valley-fold over the 2 lines at the bottom-right.
Then mountain-fold over the 2 diagonal lines in the
middle. And valley-fold over the 2 lines at the top-left.

Pull this flap upwards

Squash-fold the flap

Valley-fold over these 2 lines.
Step 57:
Unfold the folds of step 56
Step 58:
Pull the edge indicated by the arrow downwards
by making a valley-fold over this line.

Press the edges flat from above, see arrows

Valley-fold the triangular flap upwards
Step 61:
Pull the 2 ends outwards, in the direction of the arrows.
Step 62:
Fold the triangular flap to the inside of the model
Step 63:
Push the 2 ends towards each other again

Repeat step
55 to 63 on the other 3 flaps
Step 65:
Fold the edge on the right and the edge on
the left of the orange line upwards
Step 66:
Pull the upper paper-layer loose from the model
Step 67:

Valley-fold over these lines
Step 69:
Fold the new/extra flap upwards over this line
Step 70:
Repeat steps
65 to 69 on the other 3 same
places of the model
Step 71:
Prefold over this line, fold the tip below to the
edge indicated by the upper arrow

Open the model, see arrow
Step 73:
Mountain-fold the center downwards over these
prefolded lines
Step 74:
Push the model inwards from aside again,
without making new folding lines.
Step 75:
Fold the upper flap and the 2 flaps indicated
by the arrows to the left.
Step 76:
Valley-fold over these 4 lines
Step 77:
Valley-fold over these 2 lines
Step 78:
Make an inside reverse fold over the 3 orange lines.
Valley-fold over the yellow line while you do this.
Step 79:
Pull the flap indicated by the arrow upwards
Step 80:
Valley-fold over these 2 lines.
The tip of the flap is pulled downwards a little
by making these folds
Step 81:
Now the model looks like this
Step 82:
Press the piece indicated by the arrow downwards
Step 83:
And the head is done too....
Step 84:
Insert the tip of the rib-piece in my right hand
into the opening indicated by the arrow.
Step 85:
Repeat step 84 with the 3rd rib-piece
Step 86:
This part is fitted together....
Step 87:
Insert the tip of one tail-piece in the opening
at the back of the other tail-piece
Step 88:
Insert the tip of the tail-part in the opening of
the rib-part
Step 89:
Insert the left-leg in the opening of
the rib-part
Step 90:
Insert the right-leg in the same opening
Step 91:
Fold the ribs upwards.
Then, turn the model
Step 92:
Insert the tip indicated by the arrow in the
opening on the back of the head.
