FOLDING A DOG
Only the front side of the square piece of paper is coulored.
Step 1:
This is the front of the paper.
Turn the paper.
Step 2:
Make mountain- and valley-folds over the
black lines.
Unfold each fold after you made one.
Step 3:
First, make two valley-folds below, on
the right.
Then, make two mountain-folds in the
middle.
And then, make two valley-folds on top,
on the left.
Now you get a basic-shape.
Step 4:
Make these folds on the upper 2 layers
of the model.
Unfold them after they are made.
Step 5:
Pull the end at the big arrow to the top
by making a
valley-fold over the black line. Flatten
the loose pieces
on the left and right. Use the folds of
step 4 as help-lines.
Step 6:
Repeat step 4 and 5 for the back of the
model.
Step 7:
Make an inside-reverse fold over the
black line.
Step 8:
Make a valley-fold over the black line
and pull the corner
at the arrow a bit to the left and
upwards.
Step 9:
Pull the corner of step 8 (see
right-arrow) the the point
indicated by the left arrow. Then,
flatten everything.
Step 10:
Repeat step 8 and 9 for the other side
of the model.
Step 11:
Make an inside-reverse fold over the
black line.
Step 12:
Make an inside-reverse fold over this
black line.
Step 13:
The dog is almost ready.
Step 14:
This is an enlarged picture of
the front-legs.
Make an inside-reverse fold over the
black line.
Step 15:
Make an inside-reverse fold
over this black line.
Step 16:
The front-leg is ready. repeat
step 14 and 15 for the
other front-leg.
The hind-leg is folded
almost the same way, but in
step 14 the end is just pressed upwards
instead of
making an inside-reverse fold.
The origami-dog is ready!
