This is how to make a dress shaped wedding / party favour box out of a
paper
rectangle of about 30x15 centimeters, two squares.
I used transparent tape to make shiny and glossy boxes.
Step 1: Prefold
in half over the two centerlines, then fold both edges to the
prefolded centerline.
Step 6: Fold
the corner inwards.
Step 5: Prefold
over these four lines.
Step 2: Fold
both parts in half two more times. Unfold afterwards.
Step 4: Now
the paper has a prefolded squares pattern which is used as guidance
for the folds in the next steps.
Make these four folding lines sharper.
Step 3: Fold
both edges to the centerline two times. Unfold afterwards.
Step 10: Fold
both edges inwards.
Step 8: Repeat
steps 6 and 7 on this corner.
Step 9: Repeat
steps 6 to 8 on the other side.
Step 7: Fold
over this (prefolded) line.

Step 12: Fold
over these two lines.
Step 11: Fold
the model flat again.
Step 14: Fold
the upper edge inwards and fold on both corners at the backside.
Step 13: Fold
over these two lines.
Then repeat steps 10 to 13 on the backside.
