ORIGAMI FAIRY HAT
I made a tiny fairy hat here, but you can make a
much larger one if you like when you
use
gift wrapping paper or something else to make the hat.
Step 1:
This is the front of the paper,
turn the paper.
Step 2:
Start at the left dot with rolling the
paper up, so the
backside of the piece at the left dot lays over
the
piece at the dot on the right.
Step 3:
Hold the model the same as I do in this
picture.
Add a little glue to the piece at the
arrow on the right
and glue it to the rest of the model, on
the place indicated
with the arrow on the left.
Step 4:
Fold the end indicated by the arrow to
the inside of the
model by making a valley-fold over the
yellow line.
Step 5:
Repeat step 4 on the 2 ends indicated by
these arrows.
Step 6:
The hat itself is done now...
Step 7:
This paper is for the veil and it's
completely white
on both sides.
Make mountain- and valley-folds over
these lines.
Step 8:
Here a part of the folds from step 7 is
already done.
Step 9:
Press the model flat from aside with 2
fingers, see arrows,
and make a valley-fold over the yellow
line. Make this fold
over all layers of the model.
Step 10:
Hold the model between 2 fingers on the
place indicated
with the small arrow on the right.
Then pull the corners at the 2 large
arrows outwards with
your other hand.
Step 11:
Keep holding the model in one hand at
the smaller arrow.
Now press the edges that stand upwards
flat one some
places with your other hand, see arrows
for examples.
Step 12:
The veil is done too...
Step 13:
Add a little glue to the top
of the hat, see arrow on the left,
and glue the top of the veil to it, see
arrow on the right.
The origami fairy hat is ready!
