A KIRIGAMI GERBERA
This gerbera flower is made of 1 large paper for the center and about
40 small papers
for the petals.
Step 1:
This paper is for a petal. It's coloured
on both sides
and the size is about 0,5 x 1,5 inch.
Make a valley-fold over the purple line.
Step 2:
Make a valley-fold over this line.
Step 3:
And make a valley-fold over the 2 short
lines on the left.
Step 4:
The petal looks like this on the
bottom-side.
Turn the petal.
Step 5:
The petal is ready...
You need about 40 of these petals for
one flower.
Step 6:
This paper is for the center of the
flower.
Only the front of the paper is coloured.
The size is 5,5 x 5,5 inch.
Make a mountain-fold over the 4 purple
lines.
Step 7:
Make a mountain-fold over these 4 lines.
Step 8:
Make a mountain-fold over these 4 lines.
Step 9:
And make a mountain-fold over these 4
lines.
Step 10:
The center of the flower is ready...
Turn the model.
Step 11:
Add a little glue to the end of a petal
(see the arrow
on the right) and glue it to the center
of the flower,
see the arrow on the left.
Step 12:
Repeat step 11 for about 40 petals.
In the picture of step 13 is an example
of how the
petals are arranged after they are glued
to the center
of the flower.
Step 13:
The model looks like this on
the backside.
Push the petals a bit upwards.
Turn the model.
The gerbera is ready!
