This is how to fold an elegant and classy High Low Dress out of one
large paper
rectangle, about 36x24 centimeters.
I folded my dresses out of normal black and black glitter papers.
Step 1: Prefold
in half, then prefold both edges to this prefolded centerline.
Step 6: Fold
pleats, both valley-folds are prefolded lines and the two
mountain-folds lay in the middle of the prefolded lines.
Step 5: Fold
over these three lines.
Step 2: This
is the other side of the paper.
Prefold in half, then fold both halfs in three parts of the same
size.
Step 4: Fold
over these two lines, use the prefolded lines pattern as guidance.
Step 3: Fold
both parts in half two times, unfold the model afterwards.
Step 10: Fold
over the pink lines.
Step 8: Repeat
step 6 four more times.
Step 9: Fold
over these three lines, use tape or glue on the waist area and upper
hem to keep the model in the right shape.
Step 7: This
is the other side of the model.
Repeat step 6 on the left and right, the mountain-folds are
prefolded lines now.
