ORIGAMI CANDY SHAPED GIFT BOX
This is how to make a mini candy shaped gift / favour box out of two
paper
rectangles. I used shiny red wrapping papers
for my own favour boxes.
Step 1:
(Pre)fold
and cut a paper square in half. The paper is about 20x20
centimeters.
Step 6:
This
is the other side. Press / fold the edges indicated by the arrows
towards each other.
Step 5:
Fold
both edges straight upwards over the prefolded lines.
Step 2:
I
folded shiny wrapping paper around both rectangles.
Step 4:
Prefold
in three parts of the same size.
Step 3:
Prefold
in three parts of the same size.
Step 10:
The
lid of the box is done....
Step 8:
This
is a side view of the model. Fold over these four lines. Make the
same folds on the other side.
Step 9:
Pull
two of the flaps upwards, see arrows.
Step 7:
This
is how the model should look from above.
Step 12:
Fold
the four corners inwards, use the prefolded lines as help.
Step 11:
Repeat
steps 3 and 4 on the other rectangle for the box itself.
Prefold both edges to the prefolded lines.
Step 13:
Glue
the four flaps to the model, see arrows.
DONE!
