NEWSPAPER Origami FLOWERS
About five newspapers were enough to find the right
papers for the bouquet.


Step 1:
This
is a text-only part of a newspaper which is folded around a white
paper, to make the flowers last longer.
Prefold, then turn the paper.



Step 6:
Squash-fold.
Then repeat step 5 and 6 on the other three petals.
Step 5:
Pull
the petal upwards.
Step 2:
Valley-fold
over the two lines at the bottom right. Then mountain-fold over the
two diagonal lines. And valley-fold over the two lines at the top
left.
Step 4:
Fold
the flaps upwards.

Step 3:
Fold
the four flaps downwards.

Step 10:
This
is the backside of the flower, press and twist it inwards.


Step 8:
Squash-fold
the four inner petals.
Step 9:
Curve
the inner petals outwards.
Step 7:
Zig
zag fold on the tip and curve the petal outwards. Do the same on the
other three petals.

Step 16:
One
stem is done.....
Step 15:
Make
a few more folds.
Step 12:
One
flower is done.....
Step 11:
This
is how the backside should look.
Step 14:
Fold
the paper around a metal / florist wire



Step 13:
Use
dark parts of newspaper pictures for the stems.


Step 21:
Pull
it outwards
Step 19:
Fold
over this line.
Step 20:
Crumple
the part between the arrows.
Step 18:
Fold
over these four lines.
Step 17:
Use
green parts of newspaper pictures for the leafs.



Step 22:
This
is how the leafs should look like.
Step 23:
Glue
the back of the flower into the top of the stem.
Curve / bend the stem to make it look more natural.
