FOLDING AN ORANGE FLOWER
Both sides of the square paper are coulored.
Step
1:
This is the front of the paper. Turn the
paper.
Step
2:
Make mountain- and valley-folds over the
4 lines.
Unfold each fold right after you made
one.
Step
3:
If you make these folds, you get a basic
shape like the
figure in step 4.
Step
4:
Pull the end at the arrow up by making
valley-folds over the
two black lines.
Step
5:
Now the end looks like this. Repeat step
4 for the other 3 ends.
Step
6:
Push the model at the arrow a bit to the
left. And pull the
point at the white dot over the piece
left of the
white dot.
Repeat this for the other 3 pieces.
Step
7:
Make a valley-fold over the left line
and a mountain-fold
over the line on the right. Repeat this
for the
other 3
pieces of the model.
Step
8:
The folds made in step 7 are a bit
loose, but by making the
folds in step 9 they get more solid.
Turn the model.
Step
9:
Make a valley-fold on the corner. Make
another valley-fold
on the corner to make it more solid.
Repeat this on
the
other 3 corners.
Step
10:
The model is turned on it's back again.
Fold the four ends
of the petals down.
Step
11:
Make small folds down at the 2 arrows.
Repeat this on the
other 3 petals.
The flower is ready!
