FOLDING AN ORANGE FLOWER
Both sides of the square piece of paper are coulored.
Step 1:
This is the front of the paper. Turn the
paper.
Step 2:
Make mountain- and valley-folds over the
4 lines
Unfold each fold right after you made
one.
Step 3:
Make 2 valley-folds below, on the right.
Then, make
2 mountain-folds in the middle. And,
make 2 valley-folds
on top, on the left. Now you get a
basic-shape.
Step 4:
Make these folds on the upper 2 layers
of the model.
Unfold them after they are made.
Step 5:
Pull the piece at the arrow up by making
a valley-fold
over the black line.
Step 6:
Flatten the pieces on the left and right
(see arrows), use
the lines of the folds you made in step
4 as help-lines.
Step 7:
Repeat step 4 to 6 for the back of the
model.
Step 8:
Pull the 2 petals a bit down.
Step 9:
Hold the model at the 2 small arrows
between two fingers
and push the petal (see big arrow) up
until it lays right
under the other 2 petals. (The petal
becomes flat)
Step 10:
Repeat step 9 for the other petal that
faces down.
Step 11:
Open the pieces at the two arrows.
Step 12:
Curl the end of each petal a bit.
The flower is ready!
