AN ORIGAMI PANDA
Only the front of the square piece of paper is coloured.
Step 1:
This is the front of the paper.
Turn the paper.
Step 2:
Make a valley-fold over this line.
Step 3:
Make a valley-fold over this line.
Make this fold over the upper layer of
the model.
Step 4:
Fold the model in half over the blue
line.
Step 5:
Fold the piece below the two lines to
the back by making
a mountain-fold over the upper line.
Then, fold the piece back to the front
by making a
valley-fold over the other line.
Step 6:
Repeat step 5 on the other end, see
arrow.
Step 7:
Make a valley-fold over the line on the
left and a
mountain-fold over the line on the right.
Make the same folds on the backside of
the model.
The end on the right goes downwards when
you make these folds (see arrow)
Step 8:
Make an inside reverse fold on the end
that is indicated
with the arrow. Do this by making a
mountain-fold over
the little blue line and a valley-fold
on the same place
at the backside of the end.
You actually pull the tip of the end to
the inside of the
model with these folds.
Step 9:
Repeat step 8 on the end that is
indicated with the arrow.
Then, repeat step 8 one more time on the
other end on the
left.
Step 10:
Make a mountain-fold over the blue line
on the right.
Make the same fold on the backside of
the model.
Step 11:
Make an inside reverse fold on the nose
of the panda, see
arrow. (this is the same fold as in step
8).
Pull the front-legs a bit to the
outside, see the 2 larger arrows.
Now the panda can stand on it's feet.
The panda is ready :)
