Origami Pegasus folding
You can use all kind of papers to fold this Pegasus (one
side colored and one
side white). At the bottom of this page is a picture with some
examples.
Step 6: Push/press
the edges downwards
Step 5: Valley-fold
the tip at the bottom of the arrow upwards.
Step 2: First
valley-fold over the 2 lines at the bottom right.
Then mountain-fold over the 2 diagonal lines in the
middle. And valley-fold over the 2 lines at the top
left.
Step 4: Unfold
the folds of step 3
Step 3: Valley-fold
over these 2 lines.
Step 10: Prefold
over this line, fold the tip to the spot
indicated by the arrow below.
Step 8: Fold
over these 2 lines.
Step 9: Repeat
steps 3 to 8 on the backside.
Step 7: Make
an inside reverse fold over these 2 sets
with 3 lines.
Step 1: Prefold
over these 4 lines.
Step 16: Mountain-fold
over the line on the left and
valley-fold over the line on the right.
Step 15: Make
an inside reverse fold over these 3 lines.
Step 12: Repeat
steps 10 and 11 on the backside.
Step 11: Make
an inside reverse fold over these 2 sets
with 3 lines.
Use the prefolded line of step 10 as guidance.
Step 14: Valley-fold
over this line.
Step 13: Open
the model on the right, see arrow.
Step 21: Valley-fold
over this line.
Step 19: Fold/curve
the tail downwards on the spot
indicated by the arrow on the left and fold/curve
it upwards on the spot indicated by the arrow
on the right.
Step 20: Open
the model on the left, see arrow.
Step 18: Make
an inside reverse fold over these 3 lines.
Step 17: Press
the tail flat by making a mountain-fold
over this line.
Step 22: Make
an inside reverse fold over these lines.
Step 28: Push
this edge to the left by making
a valley-fold over the line on the left and
a mountain-fold over the line on the right.
Do the same on the other side.
Step 25:
Step 26: Make
an inside reverse fold over these lines,
do the same on the other side.
Step 24: Make
an inside reverse fold over these lines.
Step 23: Mountain-fold
over this line.
Step 29: Mountain-fold
over these 2 lines. Then push the
legs in the direction of the arrows (=towards each
other).
Do the same on the other side.
Step 27: Make
an inside reverse fold over these lines,
do the same on the other side.
Done,
I made one with pink and white, one with blue and white and
some with complete white papers.

Fantasy picture with an Origami Pegasus
The Pegasus is a creature of the Greek mythology and
came out of the love between Medusa and Poseidon. The Pegasus is
an inspiration for many artists and well know companies.
