FOLDING A PINK FLOWER
Both sides of the square piece of paper are coloured. On the front is a
yellow circle.
Step
1:
This is the back of the paper.
Turn the paper.
Step
2:
Make
mountain- and valley-folds over the black lines.
Unfold each fold after you
made one.
Step
3:
First,
make 2 valley-folds below on the right.
Then,
make 2 mountain-folds in the middle.
And
make 2 valley-folds on top on the left.
Now you get a basic-shape.
Step
4:
Pull up the piece on the right and
flatten it.
Now it looks like the figure in step 5.
Step
5:
Here the model is turned upside-down.
Repeat step 4 for the other 3 pieces of
the model.
Step
6:
Make a valley-fold over these 2 lines.
Step
7:
Unfold the folds of step 6.
Make a valley-fold in the direction of
the yellow arrow.
Step
8:
A part of the fold of step 7 is already
done here.
Flatten the pieces at the arrows on top
over the lines
you made in step 6.
Step
9:
The folds of step 6 to 8 are done here.
Repeat step 6 to 8 for the other 3
pieces.
Step
10:
Fold the 4 loose triangular pieces up.
Step
11:
Press the petal at the yellow arrow down
and
make a valley-fold over the black line.
Do the same on the other 3 petals.
Step
12:
Fold the upper layer of the petal at the
2 arrows up a bit
Do the same on the other 3 petals.
Step
13:
Flatten the end of the 4
petals and curl them backwards.
The flower is ready!
