FOLDING A PINK FLOWER
Both sides of the square piece of paper are coloured. On the front is a
yellow circle.
Step
1:
This is the back of the paper.
Turn the paper.
Step
2:
Make
mountain- and valley-folds over the black lines.
Unfold each fold after you
made one.
Step
3:
First,
make valley-folds over the 2 lines below, on the
right. Then, make 2
mountain-folds in the middle.
And,
make 2 valley-folds on top, on the left.
Now you get a basic-shape.
Step
4:
Fold the top double over the black line.
Step
5:
Open the model.
Step
6:
Now the center of the paper has to be
folded down over
the lines made in step 4.
Step
7:
Here the center is already folded down a
bit.
Press on the model at the 2 arrows.
Step
8:
Flatten the model at the 2 arrows.
Step
9:
Make an inside-reverse-fold over the
black lines.
Step
10:
At the yellow arrow you see the result
of the folds in step
9. Repeat step 9 for the other 3 pieces.
Step
11:
Put a finger in the model from below and
make the
yellow center of the flower more round.
Step
12:
Make a fold over the short
black line at the arrow on top
on the right. Make another fold on the
same piece.
Do the same as above on the other 3
pieces, see the
arrows.
Step
13:
Make a mountain-fold on the
ends of the 4 petals.
Step
14:
Fold little pieces of the
corners on the petal (see arrows)
down (=mountain-fold). Now the petal is
more round.
Do the same on the other 3 petals.
The flower is ready :-)
