EASY ORIGAMI PRIMROSE
These are instructions for folding a very cute origami primrose
arrangement.
Step 1:
This is the front of the paper, the
backside is
completely red.
Prefold over these 4 lines.
Step 2:
Make a mountain-fold over these 4 lines.
Then, turn the model.
Step 3:
Make a valley-fold over these lines.
Step 4:
Turn the model.
Step 5:
Prefold over these 4 lines.
Step 6:
First, make a valley-fold over the 2
lines at the arrows.
Then, make a mountain-fold over the 2
lines next to these
first ones. Continue making valley- and
mountain-folds until
the 2 lines on the top left.
You don't have to make new folding lines
to do this,
everything is prefolded.
Step 7:
Prefold the model over this line. You
can make a valley-fold
first and then a mountain-fold over the
same line to make
the prefolded lines sharper.
The end indicated by the upper arrow
goes to the
place
at the arrow below.
Step 8:
Unfold the model until it has the same
shape as in step 6.
Step 9:
Fold the center of the model down by
making
mountain-folds over these lines.
You don't have to make new folding lines
in steps 9 to 11
Step 10:
Press the model further inwards on the
places indicated
by the arrows.
Don't press the model completely
inwards.
Step 11:
Turn the model.
Step 12:
Fold the petal indicated by the arrow
downwards by making
a valley-fold over the left (prefolded)
line and a mountain-fold
over the line on the right.
Step 13:
Press the petal a little
further downwards, in the direction
of the arrow.
Repeat step 12 and 13 on the other 7
petals
Step 14:
Here a part of all petals is
folded downwards.
Step 15:
And all petals are folded
downwards here.
Make a mountain-fold over the blue line.
Make the same
fold on all other petals.
Step 16:
Make an inside reverse fold
over these 3 lines. Do this by
making a valley-fold over the short line
in the middle and
a mountain-fold over the outer 2 lines.
You actually just push the edge at the
arrow inwards with
these folds.
Make the same folds as above on each
other petal.
Step 17:
Press the outer red part of the model
outwards, in the
direction of the arrows.
Step 18:
The flower is done...
Step 19:
This paper is coloured on both sides.
Make a valley-fold over the yellow line.
Step 20:
Make a valley-fold over these 2 lines.
Step 21:
Make a valley-fold over these 4 lines.
Step 22:
This is the backside of the leaf.
Turn the model.
Step 23:
Crumble the leaf in your
hands.
Step 24:
Make 3 leaves for one completed
arrangement.
Then, glue them to the backside of the
primrose.
Done!
(Could be a great decoration for a
front-door)
