HOW TO FOLD A RING
Only the front of the square piece of paper is coloured.
Step 1:
This is the front of the paper.
Turn the paper.
Step 2:
Make a valley-fold over the blue line.
Unfold this fold after you made it.
Step 3:
Make a valley-fold over these 2 lines.
Step 4:
Make a valley-fold over these 2 lines.
Make these folds over both layers of the
model.
Step 5:
Fold the piece on the right of the blue
line to the left
by making a valley-fold over this line.
Step 6:
Fold the piece from step 5 back to the
right by making
a valley-fold over this line.
Step 7:
Make the same folds as in step 5 and 6
over these
2 lines.
Step 8:
Make a valley-fold over the blue line.
The corner at the yellow arrow is pulled
downwards
when you make this fold.
Step 9:
Here a part of the fold from step 8 is
already made.
At the arrow is the corner from step 8.
Now flatten everything by pressing on
the model
from above.
Step 10:
Repeat step 8 and 9 over this line.
The corner at the arrow is pulled
upwards this time.
Step 11:
Repeat step 8 to 10 on the other side of
the model,
see the blue lines on the left.
Step 12:
Make a valley-fold on the 4 corners, see
the very short
lines.
Turn the model after you've done this.
Step 13:
Curl the 2 ends (see arrows)
around a pencil or just
by rolling them up.
Then, turn the model again.
Step 14:
Push the 2 ends against each
other (see arrows) and
connect them by rolling a piece of tape
around them.
The ring is ready!
