I folded this ring of silver colored paper which I bought in a book-shop.
Paper with gold-color is great too, ofcourse!

                                                                        Step 1:
                                                                        Mountain-fold in half over the purple line

                                                                        Step 2:
                                                                        Valley-fold over these 2 lines


                                                                        Step 3:
                                                                        Prefold in half over this line

                                                                        Step 4:
                                                                        Valley-fold over the 2 lines in the middle and
                                                                        mountain-fold over the 2 outer lines

                                                                        Step 5:
                                                                        Valley-fold over these 4 lines

                                                                        Step 6:
                                                                        Press the model flat, see arrows

                                                                        Step 7:
                                                                        Valley-fold over this purple line

                                                                        Step 8:
                                                                        Curl the 2 ends by rolling them up
                                                                        with your fingers

                                                                        Step 9:
                                                                        Press the edge inwards by making an inside
                                                                        reverse fold over these lines (=valley-fold over
                                                                        the short line in the middle and mountain-fold
                                                                        over the 2 outer lines)

                                                                        Step 10:
                                                                        Repeat step 9 on the other 3 edges,
                                                                        see arrows

                                                                        Step 11:
                                                                        Insert the end on the left in the opening
                                                                        on the right, see arrows
