ORIGAMI ROSES
This is how to fold cute Origami Roses in a clay pot.
I designed this arrangement for my book 'Mini
Origami Flowers'
Step 1:
You
don't need to make exactly the same folds as I did for this rose.
I'm not very precise making the folds for this model too, this makes
each rose a little different from the others.
Make a valley-fold over this line.
Step 6:
Repeat
step 5 on the other 4 sides of the model, see arrows.
Step 5:
Fold
the right dot to the left dot.
Step 2:
Make
a valley-fold over this line.
Step 4:
Now
you've made a paper with 5 sides.
Fold the 3 ends of the model back to the outside by making a
valley-fold over the blue lines.
Step 3:
Make
a valley-fold over this line.
Step 10:
Press
the bottom of the flower inwards from all angles, see arrows. Then,
turn the bottom a little bit counter clockwise with your other hand.
Step 8:
Hold
the model the same as I do in this picture.
Pull one of the corners at the arrows counter clockwise with your
other hand. Do this with each corner that is indicated by an arrow.
Step 9:
Twist
the model.
Make sure the model stays in the same shape while you do this.
Step 7:
Now
the model looks like this.
Step 12:
Pull
or curl some loose ends (see arrows) downwards.
Step 11:
The
model won't open by itself anymore after the folds of step 10
Step 13:
One
flower is ready....
You can add a little glue to the bottom of this flower and glue it
to the top of a stem.
DONE!
