STYLISH ORIGAMI ROSE
This rose is easier to fold then most other origami roses I have seen,
but it still looks good.
Step 1:
Both sides of the paper are completely
red.
Prefold over these 4 lines.
Step 2:
First, make a valley-fold over the 2
lines below, on the right.
Then, make a mountain-fold over the 2 lines in the
middle.
And make a valley-fold over the 2 lines
on the top left.
Step 3:
Make a valley-fold over these 2 lines.
Step 4:
Unfold the folds from step 3
Step 5:
Fold the end at the bottom of the arrow
upwards by
making a valley-fold over the yellow
line.
Step 6:
Press the edges indicated by the arrows
flat from above,
see arrows.
All lines are already prefolded.
Step 7:
Repeat step 3 to 6 on the backside of
the model.
Step 8:
Fold the 2 petals indicated by the
arrows downwards
Step 9:
Make a valley-fold over this line.
Step 10:
Make a valley-fold over this line.
Step 11:
Make a valley-fold over this line.
Step 12:
And make a mountain-fold over this line.
Make sure that the end of the petal
stays on top of
the other layers.
Step 13:
Repeat step 9 to 12 on the
other 3 petals of the model.
Step 14:
Now the model looks like this.
Step 15:
Make an inside reverse fold
over the 3 short yellow lines.
Do this by making a mountain-fold over
the line in the
middle and a valley-fold over the other
2 lines.
Make the same inside reverse fold on the
places
indicated
by the 3 blue arrows.
Step 16:
Now the model looks like this.
Step 17:
Make a mountain-fold over these 2 lines.
The pieces on
the left and right don't need to be
folded completely to
the backside of the model.
Make the same folds on the backside of
the model.
Step 18:
Now the model looks like this.
Step 19:
Hold the model the same as I do.
Press the flower a little flat from
above and below in this
picture. Press the piece indicated by
the large arrow on the
right against the piece indicated by the
small arrow
on the
right.
Do the same with the pieces indicated by
the 2 arrows
on the left.
Step 20:
Now the model looks like this.
Step 21:
Press the bottom of the flower flat from
all angles and
twist/rotate it in the direction of the
arrow.
Step 22:
Now the bottom of the rose looks like
this.
Step 23:
The flower is ready...
Step 24:
This paper is for the leaves, both sides
are coloured.
Make a valley-fold over these 2 lines.
Step 25:
Make a valley-fold over this line.
Step 26:
Make a valley-fold over this line.
Step 27:
Make a valley-fold over this line. The
corner at the arrow
is pulled upwards when you make this
fold.
Step 28:
Press the place indicated by the arrow
flat from above.
Step 29:
Repeat step 27 and 28 on the other side
of the stem.
Step 30:
Make a valley-fold over these 4 lines.
Step 31:
Turn the model.
Step 32:
Crumble the leaf in your hands.
Step 33:
One leaf is
ready...
Make about 3 leaves for one rose with
stem.
Step 34:
Make one stem,

Glue the flower and about 3 leaves to
the stem.
