This is how to fold a sailor skirt with two (folded) stripes out of a
60x15
centimeter rectangle. One paper side is black and the other is white.
The
skirt is designed by me, Joost Langeveld
Step 1: The
other side of the paper is black, fold over the pink line.
Step 6: Fold
the upper edge to the prefolded line, see arrow. And make the folds
from step 1 to 4 again.
Step 5: Unfold
the model, see next photo.
Step 2: Fold
in half.
Step 4: Press
flat, see pink arrow.
Step 3: Fold
over the upper paper layer.
Step 10: Prefold
in half and fold both edges to this prefolded centerline.
Step 8: Fold
the lower edge just above the upper edge, see pink arrow.
Step 9: Press
flat, see arrow.
Step 7: Turn
the model.

Step 12: Fold
seven pleats, use the prefolded (mountain-folds) lines as help.
Step 11: Fold
both parts in half two more times. Unfold the folds of step 10 and
11 afterwards.
Step 14: Glue
/ tape both ends together, see arrow.
Step 13: Glue
/ tape the upper part of the pleats together.
