Origami Spooky Tree with Raven
I
used a light brown color for the tree to make the black raven on the
branch more visible
Step
1:
This side of the paper is black and the
other
side is brown.
Prefold over these 4 lines
Step
2:
First valley-fold over the 2 lines at
the bottom-right.
Then
mountain-fold over the 2 diagonal lines in the
middle.
And valley-fold over the 2 lines at the top-left.
Step
3:
Valley-fold this flap upwards.
Step
4:
Squash-fold the flap
Step
5:
Valley-fold over these 2 lines
Step
6:
Unfold the folds of step 5
Step
7:
Valley-fold the edge indicated by the
arrow
downwards
Step
8:
Push/press the edges indicated by the
arrows
downwards/flat
Step
9:
Valley-fold the triangular flap upwards
Step
10:
Pull the two ends outwards, in the
direction
of the
arrows
Step
11:
Mountain-fold the triangular flap to the
inside
of the
model.
Step
12:
Push the two ends towards each other
again
Step
13:
Repeat steps 4 to 12 on the other three
flaps
Step
14:
Prefold
over this line, fold the tip below to
the edge
indicated by the upper arrow

15:
Open the
model, see arrow
Step
16:
Mountain-fold the center downwards over these
prefolded lines.
Step
17:
Push the
model back in the same shape as in step
15, with the center folded downwards now.

18:
Bookfold
one layer to the left

Valley-fold over these two lines

20:
Bookfold
the layer back to the right

21:
Repeat
step 19 on two other flaps, see arrows

Turn the
model

Squash-fold this flap, press it flat against the fingers
which are
holding the model

Valley-fold over this line

Make an inside reverse fold over these
three lines
(=mountain-fold over the short line in the middle and
a valley-fold over the two outer lines).
Do the same on the other side of the
branch

Repeat step 25 on these two sets of
three lines.

Make an inside reverse fold over these
three lines
(=valley-fold over the short line in the middle and
a mountain-fold over the two outer lines)

Valley-fold over this line

Rotate this branch clock-wise a few
times,

Turn the model

Mountain-fold these two branches in half
over the length

Push/fold the branches in the direction
of
the arrows.

Mountain-fold over these two lines.
Make the same folds (=valley-fold) on the
two edges at the backside
Then press the top of the main-stem
inwards
from all angles, see next picture

Valley-fold over the line on the left
and mountain-fold
over the
line on the right. Make the same folds on the
other
side, mirror-wise

Mountain-fold over this line, a part of
it is
behind a
branch.

Mountain-fold the branch in half over this line.
Then push the raven downwards a little,
see
arrow, so his tail gets below the branch
