  Origami STRAWBERRY GIFT BOX instructions

Both papers I used for this box are the same size. These boxes are great for decoration
of your house, just place a few on a plate or bowl.

origami strawberry texture paper                                                                        Step 1:
                                                                        This paper is completely white on the backside.
                                                                        
                                                                        Prefold over these 4 lines, then turn the paper

                                                                        Valley-fold over these 4 lines.
                                                                        
                                                                        








                                                                        Step 3:
                                                                        Pull the part on the right of the 2 lines to the left
                                                                        by making a valley-fold over the line at the left

                                                                        Step 4:
                                                                        Repeat step 3 on the other 3 edges, see green lines

                                                                        Step 5:
                                                                        Press the 2 edges of the corner against each other,
                                                                        see arrows. Then lock them together by making
                                                                        a mountain-fold over the green line.

                                                                        Step 6:
                                                                        Repeat step 5 on the other 3 corners, see arrows

                                                                        Step 7:
                                                                        Valley-fold over this line.

                                                                        Step 8:
                                                                        Repeat step 7 on the other 3 ends, see arrows
                                                                        
                                                                        Turn the model.

                                                                        Step 9:
                                                                        Make sharper folding lines, see the 4 green lines
                                                                        
                                                                        
                                                                        Then, turn the model again

                                                                        Step 10:
                                                                        The box itself is done.......

                                                                        Step 11:
                                                                        This paper is for the lid, the backside is
                                                                        completely green.
                                                                        Prefold over these 4 lines, then turn the paper

                                                                        First, valley-fold over the 2 lines at the bottom-right.
                                                                        Then mountain-fold over the 2 lines in the middle.
                                                                        And valley-fold over the 2 lines at the top left.
                                                                        







                                                                        Step 13:
                                                                        Valley-fold over these 2 lines.

                                                                        Step 14:
                                                                        Unfold the folds of step 13

                                                                        Step 15:
                                                                        Pull the end at the bottom of the arrow upwards
                                                                        by making a valley-fold over the green line.

                                                                        Press the edges downwards, see arrows

                                                                        Repeat steps 13 to 16 on the backside
                                                                        
                                                                        
                                                                        
                                                                        
                                                                        





                                                                        Step 18:

                                                                        (the 2 short lines are mountain-folds)
                                                                        
                                                                        Do the same on the other side of the model

                                                                        
                                                                        


                                                                        

                                                                        Step 19:

                                                                        Step 20:
                                                                        Push the center flat, see arrow.

                                                                        the backside)








                                                                        Step 21:
                                                                        And now the model looks like this,

                                                                        Step 22:
                                                                        Fold over these 2 lines

                                                                        Step 23:
                                                                        Repeat step 22 on the other 3 flaps

                                                                        Step 24:
                                                                        Pull the flap indicated by the arrow upwards

                                                                        Step 25:
                                                                        Make an inside reverse fold over these
                                                                        2 sets of 3 lines
                                                                        








                                                                        Step 26:
                                                                        The arrow shows the edge with the folding lines
                                                                        drawn on it in the next step

                                                                        Step 27:
                                                                        Make an inside reverse fold over these 3 lines,
                                                                        do the same on the other side of the flap.

                                                                        Step 28:
                                                                        Repeat steps 24 to 27 on the other 3 flaps

                                                                        Step 29:
                                                                        Turn the model

                                                                        Step 30:
                                                                        Prefold over these 4 lines

                                                                        Step 31:
                                                                        Make an inside reverse fold on the 4 corners, see
                                                                        green lines. Valley-fold over the yellow lines while
                                                                        you do this.

                                                                        Step 32:
                                                                        Press the 2 edges of the corner indicated by the
                                                                        arrow against each other. Then lock them together
                                                                        by making a mountain-fold over the short green line.
                                                                        
                                                                        Do the same on the other 3 corners

                                                                        Step 33:
                                                                        Turn the strawberry lid

                                                                        Curl the 4 petals around a pen/pencil or
                                                                        with your fingers
                                                                        








                                                                        Step 35:
                                                                        And the strawberry lid is done too....

                                                                        Step 36:
                                                                        Place the lid on the box
