ORIGAMI TURTLE
The eyes on the turtle's head give it a more funny look.
Step 1:
This is the front of the paper, the
backside is
completely white.
Turn the paper.
Step 2:
Prefold over these 4 lines.
Step 3:
First, make a valley-fold over the 2
lines below, on the right.
Then, make a mountain-fold over the 2
lines in the middle.
And make a valley-fold over the 2 lines
on the top left.
Step 4:
Prefold over this line. Make this fold
over all layers of
the model.
Step 5:
Fold the piece below the blue line
upwards by making
a valley-fold over this line.
Make this fold over the upper layer only.
Step 6:
Fold the corner indicated by the arrow
to the place
at the blue dot. Do this by making a
mountain-fold
over the blue line.
Step 7:
Press the model flat from above, see
arrow.
The corner indicated by the arrow goes
to the place
indicated by the blue dot.
Step 8:
The arrow on top shows the corner of
step 6 and the
other arrow shows the corner of step 7.
Repeat step 6 and 7 on the other side of
the model,
see blue line.
Step 9:
Make a valley-fold over these 2 lines.
The corner at the arrow below goes to
the folding line
indicated by the upper arrow. This is
also the case on the
folding line at the left.
Step 10:
Pull the upper layer of paper indicated
by the arrow upwards.
Step 11:
Make a valley-fold over the upper blue
line and another
one over the shorter line below.
The corner indicated by the arrow is
pulled upwards
while you make these folds.
Step 12:
The arrow shows the corner which you've
pulled upwards
in step 11.
Press the place indicated by the arrow
flat from above.
Step 13:
Repeat step 11 and 12 over
these 2 lines.
Step 14:
Press the piece of paper which
you've pulled upwards
in step 10 back down, see arrow.
Step 15:
Make the same kind of folds as
in step 11 to 13 over these
2 pairs of lines.
Step 16:
Turn the model.
Step 17:
Make a mountain-fold over these 3 lines.
The 3 ends are folded backwards above
the other
body-parts.
Step 18:
Make a mountain-fold over these 2 lines.
Step 19:
And make a mountain-fold over these 2
lines.
Note that there's a little space between
the lines at
the place indicated by the arrow,
otherwise the paper
can tear.
Step 20:
Make a mountain-fold over these 2 lines.
Step 21:
Press the model inwards on the place
indicated by the
arrow. Do this by making a valley-fold
over the 2 blue lines.
Step 22:
Repeat step 21 on the piece indicated by
the blue arrow.
Step 23:
Make a valley-fold over the line in the
middle and
a mountain-fold over the other 2 lines.
The end at the arrow is pulled downwards
by making
these folds.
Step 24:
Turn the model.
Step 25:
Press the 2 layers of paper indicated by
the smaller
arrows against each other. Then press
this piece flat from
above with your other hand.
Step 26:
Hold the model the same as I do.
Make a valley-fold over these 2 lines.
The model can't open by itself anymore
when you've
made
these 2 folds.
Step 27:
Now the model looks like this.
Turn the model again.
Step 28:
Make a mountain-fold over the short blue
line on the head
of the turtle.
Step 29:
Press the neck inwards on the left and
right, see arrows.
Do this by making a mountain-fold over
the 2 short blue
lines.
