Only the front of the square paper is coloured.
Step 1:
This is the front of the paper.
Turn the paper.
Step 2:
Prefold over this line.
Step 3:
Make a valley-fold over these 2 lines.
Step 4:
Make a valley-fold over this line.
Step 5:
Make a valley-fold over this line.
Step 6:
Fold the piece on the right of the
purple line to
the left by making a valley-fold over
this line.
Step 7:
Unfold the folds of step 5 and 6, so the
model has
the same shape as in step 5 again.
Step 8:
Make a valley-fold over this line again.
Step 9:
Make an inside reverse fold over the 3
lines on top.
Do this by making a valley-fold over the
2 longer lines
and a mountain-fold over the short line
in the middle.
Make a valley-fold over the line below
when you are
making the inside reverse fold.
Step 10:
Make the same inside reverse fold as in
step 9
over these lines.
Step 11:
Fold the piece that stands upwards in
half by making
a valley-fold over the line just below
the arrow.
The 2 short folding lines below are
almost automatically
made when you fold the piece in half.
Step 12:
Make a valley-fold over these 2 lines.
Step 13:
Make a valley-fold over these
2 lines.
Step 14:
Make a mountain-fold over the
line in the middle and
a valley-fold over the 2 other lines.
Step 15:
Press the 2 layers of paper
indicated by the arrows
against each other and lock them
together by making
a valley-fold over the line on the right
and a
mountain-fold over the other line in
once.
The 2 lines are on the same place when
you've pressed
the 2 layers of paper against each other.
Step 16:
Push the loose piece indicated
by the arrow downwards
by making a mountain-fold over the
purple line.
Step 17:
Fold the piece that stands upwards in
half over the
length one more time by making a
valley-fold over
this line.
Then, turn the model.
Step 18:
Roll the end indicated by the arrow up,
so it gets
curled.
