How to fold an origami Veined Leaf
Most of the leaves I use for my bouquets
are pretty easy to fold, so it doesn't take to
much time folding lots of them Step
1:
This paper is green on both sides.
Fold the paper in half over this line
Step
2:
Valley-fold the flap straight upwards.
Do the
same on the backside.
Step
3:
Make 2 more edges, see blue lines
Step
4:
Hold the edge between your fingers, see
picture.
Press the
edge flat with your other hand, see yellow
arrows.
Step
5:
Press the edge flat on more places,
see
arrows.
Step
6:
Press the other 2 edges flat too
Step
7:
If the edges/veines are to straight,
press them
aside on
several places, see arrows as example
Step
8:
Mountain-fold over these 2 lines
Step
9:
Mountain-fold over these 2 lines
Step
10:
Fold the places on the left and right of the blue
line
downwards a little. Then press the top and bottom
of the
leaf towards each other a little with both hands,
see arrows. This is to get some
wrinkles in the leaf
