ORIGAMI VIOLET FLOWER
Both sides of this origami folding paper are coloured.
Step 1:
Prefold over these 4 lines.
Then, turn the paper.
Step 2:
Make a valley-fold over these 4 lines.
Step 3:
Fold the 4 ends back to the outside of
the model by
making a valley-fold over these lines.
Step 4:
Turn the paper again.
Step 5:
Prefold over these 4 lines.
Step 6:
First, make a valley-fold over the 2
lines indicated by the
arrows. Then, make a mountain-fold over
the 2 lines next
to these first lines. Continue making
valley- and
mountain-folds until the 2 lines on the
top-left.
All lines are prefolded to do this.
Step 7:
Make a valley-fold over the green line.
You can make sharper prefolded lines by
making
another mountain-fold over the same line.
Step 8:
Unfold the model until it has the same
shape as
in step 6
Step 9:
Fold the center of the model downwards
by making
mountain-folds over the green lines.
You don't have to make new folding
lines, all lines are
prefolded until step 12
Step 10:
Here a part of the folds from step 9 is
already done.
Step 11:
Press the model inwards on the places
indicated by the
arrows.
The model will get the same shape as in
step 7 again, but
now with the center folded downwards.
Step 12:
Fold the end above the green line
downwards by making
a valley-fold over this green line.
Step 13:
Make an inside reverse fold
over these 3 lines.
Do this by making a mountain-fold over
the short line in the
middle and a valley-fold over the 2
longer lines.
Step 14:
Repeat steps 12 and 13 two
more times on the ends
indicated by the arrows.
Step 15:
Press the petal indicated by
the arrow downwards.
Do this by making a valley-fold over the
line on the left
and a mountain-fold over the other line
next to it.
The petal gets a flat surface after
you've done this.
Step 16:
Here a part of the folds from
step 15 is done.
Press the petal a little further
downwards, see arrow.
Step 17:
Repeat steps 15 and 16 on the other 4
petals.
Step 18:
Make a mountain-fold on the tip of each
petal, see arrows.
This is to make the petals
look less pointy.
Done!
