FOLDING A WHITE FLOWER
Only the front of the square piece of paper is coloured.
Step 1:
This is the front of the paper.
Turn the paper.
Step 2:
Make mountain- and valley-folds over the
4 lines.
Unfold each fold after you made one.
Step 3:
First, make a valley-fold over the 2
lines below, on the right.
Then, make 2 mountain-folds in the
middle.
And make 2 valley-folds on top, on the
left.
Now you get a basic-shape, see the
picture of step 4.
Step 4:
Turn the model, with the open side at
the top.
Step 5:
Pull the piece on the right up.
Step 6:
Flatten the piece, make it look like you
see in the
picture of step 7.
Do this by holding the bottom of the
piece between
2 fingers and then pressing on the top
(see arrow).
Then remove your fingers from the bottom
of the piece
and flatten the piece completely.
Step 7:
Flatten the other 3 pieces in the same
way.
Step 8:
Make a valley-fold over the 2 lines.
Unfold these folds after you made them.
Step 9:
Pull the edge at the arrow down by
making a valley-fold
over the purple line.
Step 10:
Flatten the edge on the right and left
(see arrows).
Step 11:
Fold the yellow triangular piece up by
making a valley-fold
over the purple line.
Repeat step 8 to 11 for the other 3 same
pieces of
the model.
Step 12:
Fold the piece on the right of the
purple line to the left,
make it stand straight up.
Now, push the petal at the big arrow
down, make it look
like the petal on the right in the
picture of step 13.
Step 13:
Repeat step 12 for the other 3
petals.
Step 14:
Make a valley-fold on the tip
of each yellow stamen.
Curl the 4 petals with your hands or
around a pencil.
The flower is ready :-)
