A WHITE FLOWER WITH ORANGE CENTER
Both sides of the square piece of paper are coloured.
Step
1:
This is the front of the paper.
Turn the paper.
Step
2:
Make mountain- and valley-folds over
these 4 lines.
Unfold each fold after you made one.
Step
3:
Make these folds from the edge of the
paper to the center,
not further.
First, make a valley-fold over the 2
lines below. Then, make a
mountain-fold over the 2 lines in the
middle. And make a valley-fold
over the 2 lines on top.
Now you get a basic-shape.
Step
4:
Prefold the model over these two lines.
Unfold the model completely after you've
done this.
Step
5:
The center of the paper has to be folded
downwards and the piece
between the green lines has to be folded
upwards. Do this by
making mountain- and valley-folds over
these green lines. These
lines are already prefolded in step 4,
but you can make these folds
easier by prefolding each of them one by
one in this step.
Step
6:
Here a part of the folds from step 5 is
already done.
Step
7:
Here a little more of the folds from
step 5 is done.
If you push on the model at the places
indicated with the
2 arrows the model will look the same as
in the picture of step 8.
Step
8:
Make an inside reverse fold over the 3
short lines at the yellow arrow.
Do this by making a valley-fold over the
line in the middle and a
mountain-fold over the other 2 lines.
You actually just pull the corner
indicated by the arrow downwards
when you make these folds.
Step
9:
Repeat step 8 on the corners indicated
by the 3 arrows.
Turn the model after you've done this.
Step
10:
Press the pieces indicated by the 2
large arrows (on the right)
against each other. Then lock these 2
pieces together by first making
a valley-fold over the upper green line
and then a valley-fold over
the other green line.
Do the same as above on the other 3 same
places indicated by
the small arrows. Turn the model after
you've done this.
The origami flower is ready!
