MONEY ORIGAMI WINDMILL
This windmill is made of 3 ten euro notes and great to give as a gift.
Step 1:
Fold this euro note in half
Step 2:
Prefold the model over these lines.
Step 3:
First, make a valley-fold over the 2
lines at the bottom right.
Then make a mountain-fold over the 2
lines in the middle.
And make a valley-fold over the 2 lines
at the top left.
Step 4:
Make a valley-fold over these 2 lines.
Step 5:
Unfold the folds of step 4
Step 6:
Pull the end indicated by the arrow
upwards by making
a valley-fold over the black line.
Step 7:
Push the edges flat from above, see
arrows.
Step 8:
Repeat step 4 to 7 on the backside of
the model
Step 9:
Fold the flap indicated by the arrow
downwards.
Do the same with the flap on the
backside of the model.
The picture of step 10 shows how the 2
flaps are
placed
after these 2 folds.
Step 10:
Press the 2 layers indicated by the
small arrows against
each other with one hand.
Then push the flap indicated by the
large arrow downwards
with your other hand, against the
fingers which are holding
the layers at the small arrows.
Step 11:
Repeat step 10 with the other flap, see
arrow
Step 12:
Turn the model
Step 13:
Make a valley-fold over this
line.
Step 14:
Make a valley-fold over this
line
Step 15:
Press the edge indicated by
the arrow below against the
place indicated by the upper arrow.
Step 16:
Repeat step 13 to 15 at the
other 3 corners, see arrows
Step 17:
Make a valley-fold over these 4 lines.
Step 18:
Turn the model.
Step 19:
This piece is done...
Step 20:
This note is for the base of the windmill
Fold the paper in half over this line.
Step 21:
Fold the model in half over this line.
Step 22:
Make valley-folds over these lines.
The piece on the left is a little longer
then the other
5 pieces.
Step 23:
Make a valley-fold over this line.
The edge indicated by the arrow at the
right is folded
to the edge indicated by the arrow at
the left.
Step 24:
Fold the piece below the black line
behind the piece
indicated by the arrow.
Do this by making a mountain-fold over
the black line.
Step 25:
And the base of the windmill is done
too...
Step 26:
This note is for the body of the
windmill.
Fold the paper in half over this line.
Step 27:
Prefold the model over these lines.
Step 28:
Pull the piece between the 2 lines to
the left.
Do this by making a valley-fold over the
line at the left
and a mountain-fold over the line at the
right.
Step 29:
Repeat step 28 on the other 3 same
places of the model,
see black lines.
Step 30:
Make a mountain-fold over the black
line, make this fold
over all paper layers of the corner.
Step 31:
Repeat step 30 at the other 3 corners,
see arrows.
Step 32:
Fold the piece above the black line to
the inside of the model
by making a valley-fold over this black
line.
Do the same as above at the other 3 same
places of the
model, see arrows.
Step 33:
Turn the model.
Step 34:
Make the 4 edges of the model sharper by
making
a mountain-fold at each edge, see 2
black lines as example.
The other 2 lines are at the backside of
the model.
Step 35:
And the body of the windmill is done too.
Step 36:
Push the piece indicated by the arrow at
the right
in the opening indicated by the arrow at
the left.
Step 37:
Place the upper part of the model on the
base, see arrow.
