Only one side of this square paper needs to be coloured.
Step
1:
Make a mountain-fold over this line.
Step
2:
Pull the corner at the arrow on the
right upwards and to
the left, in the direction of this arrow.
Then, pull the corner at the arrow on
the left upwards
and to the right, in the direction of
this arrow.
Lay the left dot over the backside of
the dot on the right.
Step
3:
Hold the model the same as I do in this
picture.
Add glue to the opening indicated by the
arrow and
glue the layers of paper together.
Step
4:
Fold the end indicated by the arrow on
the right to the
inside of the model by making a
mountain-fold over the
line below this arrow.
Do the same with the end indicated by
the arrow on the
left.
Step
5:
Fold more ends which are sticking out of
the model
to the inside of the model (the same way
as in step 4)
Step
6:
Hold the model the same as I do in this
picture and pull
the edge inside out, see arrows. It's
almost the same as
pulling a sock inside out:
Push the model inwards about half an
inch below the
edge and then pull the edge carefully
downwards. Do
this on several places of the edge, see
arrows.
Step
7:
Here a part of the edge is pulled inside
out.
It doesn't matter if the model gets
wrinkles when you
do this.
Step
8:
The model looks like this from below.
Turn the model...
