gift basket (Sticky Note version)
This is how to weave a real cute basket out of self-made
paper strips
Step 1:
These baskets
are made of Sticky Note papers. You can use any color you like.
Stick two papers together.
Step 8:
Repeat
step 6 and 7 with two more green strips.
Step 6:
Start
with three strips of each color woven together, see picture. Use
tape or glue to hold them together (if necessary).
Weave a green strip through the model, see picture. Use the arrows
as help.
Step 13:
Repeat
step 12 on the left.
Step 12:
Fold
the edges downwards over the purple lines. Press the edges against
each other by folding over the green lines.
Step 11:
Weave
about three more yellow strips through the model.
Step 10:
Weave
another yellow strip through the model.
Step 9:
Weave
a yellow strip through the model, see arrows.
Step 5:
Make
about seven strips of one color and about nine of another color.
Step 7:
Weave
another green strip through the model, see arrows.
Step 3:
Fold
over these two lines
Step 2:
Fold in half over this line.
Step 4:
Now
you've made a paper strip for weaving
Step
14:
Finally,
tape or glue one more strip to the model, see arrows. This will be
the handle
Done!
One for Easter, one with candy and one with flowers. The
other two are for picnicking (maybe).
