Make a woven newspaper bag
This is how to weave a bag out of selfmade newspaper strips
Step 1:
This
bag is made out of newspapers, but you can use other papers too
ofcourse (Magazine papers, normal papers etc.)
Fold the paper in half over the length.
Step 6:
The
third text-only strip is taped/glued to the backside.
Step 5:
Tape
or glue a text-only strip to a strip with pictures.
The first strip is taped to the backside, tape the next text-only
strip to the front.
Step 2:
Fold
in half
Step 4:
Make
10 strips with text only and about 14 with pictures/colors.
Step 3:
Fold
over these three lines.
Step 10:
Weave
another colored strip through the model, see arrows for help
Step 8:
Weave
a colored strip through the model, see arrows for help
Step 9:
Slide
the strip completely upwards and use tape or glue to fix it to the
model (if necessary).
Step 7:
Tape/glue
the other seven text-only strips to the model (to the front, to the
backside, to the front etc.)

Step 15:
Make
one very long newspaper strip. Fold the ends in half and glue/tape
them to the inside of the bag, see arrows.
Step 12:
Cut
off the loose parts of the colored strips (if necessary)
Step 11:
Continue
weaving colored strips through the model until you've reached the
bottom.
Step 14:
Glue
or tape the edges on the left and right together. Then open the
model a little, see arrow.
Step 13:
Fold
the model in half.
