I folded this model with a banknote from Kenya, because I like the colours of it.
But this model also looks great with dollars or euro-notes.
Step 1:Prefold over these 2 lines
Step 2:
Prefold over these lines.
Step 3:
Make an inside reverse fold over these 2 sets of lines.
(=mountain-fold over the 2 short lines and a
valley-fold over the 4 longer lines)
Step 4:
And make another inside reverse fold on the edges
you've just made (=mountain-fold over the 2 short
lines and a valley-fold over the 4 longer lines)
Step 5:
Make a valley-fold over these 2 lines.
Step 6:
Make a mountain-fold over this line
Step 7:
Make an inside reverse fold over the 3 black lines.
A valley-fold over the red line is almost automatically
made when you are doing this.
Step 8:
Make another inside reverse fold on the edge you've
made in step 7
Do this by making a mountain-fold over the short line
in the middle and a valley-fold over the 2 longer lines.
Step 9:
Now the model looks like this
Step 10:
Make a valley-fold over these 2 lines.
Step 11:
Hold the model between 2 fingers at the place indicated
by the yellow arrows.
Then press this edge flat from above with your other hand,
see orange arrow
Step 12:
Make a valley-fold over these 2 lines.
Step 13:
Unfold the folds of step 12
Step 14:
Fold the edge indicated by the arrow upwards
by making a valley-fold over the black line.
Step 15:
Press the edges flat from above, see arrows.
Step 16:
Fold the triangular flap downwards by making
a valley-fold over the black line.
Step 17:
Now the model looks like this
Step 18:
Fold the corner indicated by the arrow to the right
by making a valley-fold over the black line.
Do the same as above on the other side of the body
Done!
