This is a step-by-step tutorial for folding a funny Duck.
A printable Duck
paper is available here
Step 1:
The
backside of this paper is completely white. Prefold over these 4
lines. Then, turn the paper.
Step 6:
Press
the edges downwards from above, see arrows.
Step 5:
Fold
the end at the bottom of the arrow upwards by making a valley-fold
over this line.
Step 2:
First,
valley-fold over the 2 lines at the bottom right.
Then mountain-fold over the 2 lines in the middle.
And valley-fold over the 2 lines at the top left.
Step 4:
Unfold
the folds of step 3.
Step 3:
Valley-fold
over these 2 lines.
Step 10:
Make
an inside reverse fold over these 3 lines.
Step 8:
Valley-fold
over this line.
Step 9:
Open
the model on the place indicated by the arrow.
Step 7:
Repeat
steps 3 to 6 on the backside of the model.
Then valley-fold the flaps downwards over the centerline. Turn the
model after you've done this.
Step 16:
Mountain-fold
over this line, make the same fold on the other side of the neck.
Step 15:
Hold
the model between two fingers on the place indicated by the yellow
dot. Then press the end flat from above and below with your other
hand, see arrows.
Step 12:
Make
an outside reverse fold over the 3 blue lines (=valley-fold over
each line). Mountain-fold over the green line.
Fold the edge at the upper arrow to the edge indicated by the arrow
below.
Step 11:
Repeat
step 10 on this end, see arrow.
Step 14:
Fold
the tip of the model to the inside, see very short blue line.
Step 13:
Make
an outside reverse fold over these lines.
Step 21:
Mountain-fold
over this line, make the same fold (=valley-fold) on the other side
of the leg. And make the same 2 folds on the other leg.
Step 19:
Press
the model inwards on the place indicated by the arrow.
Step 20:
Mountain-fold
over this line, make the same fold on the other side of the model.
Step 18:
Press
the neck inwards, see arrow.
Step 17:
Mountain-fold
over this line. And mountain-fold on the tip of the head, see arrow
(fold just a tiny bit to the backside of the model).
Step 22:
Press
the upper part of the leg flat between your fingers, by making a
mountain-fold over this line.
Do the same on the other leg.
Step 28:
Pull
the end indicated by the arrow upwards.
Step 25:
Valley-fold
over the very short blue line at the left of the arrow.
Step 26:
Make
an inside reverse fold over the short lines at the arrow
(=valley-fold over the line in the middle and mountain-fold over the
2 other lines).
Step 24:
Fold
the leg to the left on the place at the upper-arrow.
Then fold the leg to the right on the place indicated by the arrow
below.
Step 23:
Open
the leg on the place indicated by the arrow.
Step 29:
Mountain-fold
on the tip of the upper end. And press the end below flat from above
and below.
Step 27:
Repeat
steps 23 to 26 on the other leg.
