MONEY ORIGAMI FLOWERS
This is how to fold colorful Origami flowers out of euro banknotes.
I used fake banknotes from my book Money Origami from around the
World.
Step 1:
I folded the flowers out of 10 and 50 euro banknotes.
Fold along the colored edge.
Step 8:
Press the edges between the arrows against each other.
Step 6:
Fold this part in half.
Step 11:
This is the other side.
Open the four petals.
Step 10:
This is how the backside of the flower looks.
Step 9:
Fold the middle edge upwards, see small arrows.
Then press the lower edges upwards, see large arrows.
Step 5:
Fold over the 2 diagonal lines below, then over the 2 lines in the middle. And then over the 2 upper lines.
Step 7:
Fold the other three same parts in half too.
Step 3:
Fold the upper part backwards, use the prefolded lines as guidance.
Step 2:
Prefold, use the lower, left and right edges as guidance.
Step 4:
Now you've made a paper square.
Prefold in half over the two purple lines.
Step 12:
Curve / curl the petals backwards by rolling up the tips between your fingers.
Done!
This is a flower with another
banknote used as stem. The stem is made by folding a banknote in half a
few times and it's inserted into the back of the flower. This is a real
nice way to make a complete bouquet of Origami Flowers.
This is a selfmade card with
Money flowers attached to. I glued tiny paper sticks / stems to the
card and slided the flowers on them. Another nice gift to give!
