ORIGAMI PANSY
I
made a yellow, a blue and a pink arrangement with these cute pansies
Step 1:
This is the front of the paper, the
backside is
completely yellow.
Prefold over these 4 lines.
Step 2:
Pull the line indicated by the arrow
below to the prefolded
line at the upper arrow. Do this by making a
valley-fold over
the upper line on the right and a
mountain-fold over the
(prefolded) line at the bottom-right.
Make the same folds on the top left.
Step 3:
Make the same kind of folds as in step 2
over these
2 sets of lines.
(Now the 2 upper lines are already
prefolded)
Step 4:
Now the inside of the model looks like
this.
Step 5:
This is the bottom of the flower.
Press the bottom flat from all angles,
see arrows as
examples.
Step 6:
The arrow shows the bottom of the flower.
Step 7:
Press the pieces indicated by the arrows
a little downwards.
Step 8:
Make a mountain-fold over this line.
Step 9:
Make a mountain-fold over these 2 short
lines on the
left and right.
Step 10:
Make a mountain-fold over this line.
Step 11:
Make an inside reverse fold over these 3
lines. Do this
by making a valley-fold over the short
line in the middle
and a mountain-fold over the 2 longer
lines.
Step 12:
Make a mountain-fold on each corner
indicated by an arrow.
These folds are to make the pansy look
more rounded.
Step 13:
Make a mountain-fold over
these 2 lines, see arrows.
Step 14:
The flower is glued to a stem.
Click
here to see diagrams for making a stem
Step 15:
This paper is for the leaves.
Both sides can be coloured, but it's not
really necessary.
Turn the paper.
Step 16:
Prefold over this line.
Step 17:
Make a valley-fold over these lines.
Step 18:
Make a valley-fold over these 2 lines.
Step 19:
Make an inside reverse fold over the 3
lines at the
bottom-right.
Do this by making a mountain-fold over
the line in the
middle and a valley-fold over the 2
longer lines.
Step 20:
Turn the model.
Step 21:
Crumple the model in your hands and
press the tip of
the leaf flat from aside between two
fingers, see arrows.
Step 22:
Make as many leaves as you like and glue
them to the stem.
Step 23:
This is one completed flower with stem
and leaves.
And this picture shows 3 completed pansy
arrangements.
