    OPEN HOUSE - Weekend of june 20 and 21 - 2026

My second open house weekend is already over, I did have less visitors than expected because of the
very hot weather, but still had a great time with enthusiastic visitors. I think my next open house
will be during spring time again ;)
Of course you can also drop by in between, you can make an appointment via mail.

Manna Ori - Marten Sale Brouwer - Mini Exhibition

Marten Sale Brouwer (Manna Ori) had a (mini) exhibition during my open house weekend.
He is a dutch Origami artist who lives in Japan now, he teaches Origami in schools and also
does exhibitions at various places in Japan.
You can find more about his work here:  https://peacecorner.jp/books/

What strikes me most about his work is the level of detail of the models,
I really like this mini crane in epoxy resin!
We were wondering if he uses a magnifying glass or something to fold the models,
but he doesn't.

Infinity Mirror Effects - NEW!

I have been experimentating with infinity mirror effects for a while now and created some settings
that appear to be endless. A nice example is this box with a setting of a path through a park that
seems to go on endless:

During my open house weekend, I've been interviewed by a newspaper magazine from the Netherlands,
they were mostly impressed with the infinity mirror settings and the diversity of my Origami models.
